The training covers key administrative tasks carried out in the Oracle WebLogic Server 14c application server environment. Participants will become familiar, among others, with: the process of installing and configuring WebLogic servers in a Kubernetes environment, methods of implementing WLST scripts that automate administrative tasks, techniques for monitoring the operation and performance of WebLogic servers, procedures for deploying Java EE applications and configuring the necessary application resources (JDBC, JMS), the use of WebLogic clusters, and the management of basic security mechanisms.
Participant Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Linux server administration
- Experience working with application servers and the Java EE environment
- Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (recommended but not required)
- Ability to read and edit Jython/WLST scripts
