UX Training for Developers

“UX for Developers” is a practical training for developers and technical professionals working on the creation of digital products. Its goal is not to transform developers into UX designers, but to equip them with basic tools, ways of thinking, and procedures that help them better understand user needs, specify requirements, identify usability problems faster, and collaborate more effectively with UX, Product Managers, and business. The training focuses on everyday situations in IT teams: unclear requirements, communication gaps, late changes, insufficiently specified user stories, accessibility issues, and situations in which technical decisions directly affect the user experience. Participants learn basic UX heuristics, a practical approach to accessibility, ways of documenting UX requirements, example communication procedures, and possibilities for using AI for rapid research, creating personas, simulating conversations with users, and preliminary validation of solutions.

Who is this training for?
  • logo infoshare Developers who want to better understand their impact on the usability of digital products and learn basic UX tools useful in their everyday work
  • logo infoshare Mid and Senior Developers who want to improve collaboration with the product team, better specify requirements, and identify usability risks earlier
  • logo infoshare Tech Leads and technical leaders responsible for the quality of solutions, collaboration standards, and the product delivery process
  • logo infoshare IT specialists working on the creation of digital products, including analysts, testers, QA engineers, and technical professionals collaborating with UX, Product Managers, and business
  • logo infoshare Development and product teams that want to reduce the number of changes, improve communication, and better translate user needs into technical solutions

What will you learn?

  • Understand UX from the developer’s perspective and recognize how technical decisions affect the user experience and the business outcome of the product
  • Quickly identify basic usability problems using Nielsen’s heuristics and simple checklists
  • Ask more relevant questions about the purpose of a feature, the user context, and requirements before implementation begins
  • Apply basic accessibility principles and use simple tools for the preliminary assessment of solutions
  • Document UX requirements, complete the UX requirements sheet, and more efficiently conduct alignment and approval of solutions
  • Use AI to create working personas, simulate interviews, conduct rapid research, and perform preliminary validation of ideas
  • Collaborate more effectively with UX, Product Managers, analysts, and business stakeholders, reducing ambiguities and late changes

Training Program

Module 1: UX Fundamentals in Engineering Practice

  • UX as a work optimization tool: Discussion of the correlation between understanding the User Journey and code quality and implementation speed (fewer changes, better communication, faster implementation).
  • Basic Nielsen heuristics – how to quickly identify usability errors.
  • Accessibility – standards of inclusivity, contrast, and solution resilience.
  • UX process roadmap: Visual presentation of the full cycle (from persona and Customer Journey to technical validation). Moving from the general to the specific.

Module 2: AI-Supported Practice and Tools (1 hour 30 min)

  • Automation of user analysis: Using AI to create personas and simulate interviews (practical prompts for use in everyday work).
  • Rapid research and validation: Using the capabilities of AI tools for rapid research and validation of UX solutions without the need to have advanced design skills.

Module 3: Procedures and Collaboration Optimization (1 hour)

  • Standard communication procedures: How to document UX requirements? How to manage the UX area during daily meetings? How to efficiently conduct the solution approval process.
  • Supporting tools: Knowledge bases, links to analytical tools and tools for automating technical processes.

Module 4: Case Studies and Q&A (1 hour)

  • Analysis of practical process solutions: Discussion of 1–2 examples from real projects where the introduction of specific UX procedures (e.g. kickoff meetings for the entire team, structured communication) made it possible to simplify work, improve the flow of information, and better understand requirements at an early stage of the project.
  • Q&A session.
