AI Product Prototyping Training: Rapid Prototyping and Visual Communication of Ideas for Product Owners and Business Teams

This training shows how to use AI to quickly create conceptual prototypes, application screens, and presentation materials for stakeholders. Participants learn how to translate business ideas, requirements, and user stories into visual product concepts using Figma Make and generative UI tools. The workshop focuses not only on quickly generating screens, but also on evaluating their quality, iterating, gathering feedback, and preparing materials for discussions with designers, developers, and business stakeholders.

Who is this training for?
  • logo infoshare Product Owners and Product Managers who want to communicate requirements to technical teams more effectively and efficiently
  • logo infoshare Business and Systems Analysts who create visual complements to user stories
  • logo infoshare Sales and Innovation teams who need to effectively “sell” and present new concepts within their organizations
  • logo infoshare Non-designers who want to create prototypes independently without advanced knowledge of graphic design tools interested in creative approaches to problem-solving in their everyday work

What You Will Learn

  • How to use Figma Make to create initial versions of interactive prototypes, web apps, and product screens based on a business description, user stories, or a simple brief
  • How to use Google Stitch to quickly explore UI variations, and Figma Slides / Google Slides to build a short presentation of a product concept for business stakeholders
  • How to assess when an AI-generated prototype is only a source of inspiration, when it is suitable for stakeholder discussions, and when it requires UX/UI designer input before being handed over to the technical team

Training Program

Module 1: From Description to Visuals — When Visualization Helps and When It Does Not Replace Requirements

  • Icebreaker: introductions (name, role) and an example of a situation at work where a textual description of an idea was insufficient or took too long
  • Why are text-based user stories not enough? Communication barriers between Business and IT
  • Principles of effective conceptual prototyping
  • Psychology of product presentations: how visualization affects decision-making speed

Module 2: Block I: Interface Generation in Figma Make (Theory + Setup)

  • Introduction to Figma for non-designers — navigation basics
  • Setting up and taking the first steps with Figma Make: writing design prompts
  • UI generation vs. logic generation
  • When to use Figma Make and when to use classic Figma
  • Risks: incomplete flows, inconsistent screens, and a false sense of readiness

Module 3: Hands-on Workshop: From Text to an Application Screen

  • Exercise: turning a business description into a set of 3–5 key application screens
  • Iterating with AI: how to refine the appearance and functionality of an interface using prompts

Module 4: Refining the Prototype: Consistency, Branding, Usability, and AI Limitations

  • Simple editing of generated elements — how to adapt a prototype to the brand
  • Working with ready-made components and layouts in Figma without drawing from scratch

Module 5: Block II: Alternative UI and Concept Generation — Google Stitch (Theory + Workshop)

  • Building a narrative around an idea — how to arrange screens into a coherent story (User Flow)
  • Getting started with Google Stitch: importing projects and automating presentation layouts
  • Working with product descriptions, style, and context
  • Comparing different variants
  • Exporting / transferring concepts for further work
  • When Stitch is better suited for exploration than Figma Make

Module 6: Hands-on Workshop: Building a Concept Presentation — Figma Slides / Google Slides

  • Exercise: creating a complete presentation deck for a new product feature
  • Using AI to generate content (text and headings) within the presentation

Module 7: Validation and Handoff

  • Sharing prototypes, collecting comments in the tool, and communicating the vision to designers and developers

Template:

  • Prototype objective
  • Target audience
  • Hypothesis being tested
  • Flow scope
  • Screens
  • Business assumptions
  • Prototype limitations
  • What requires a designer’s decision
  • What requires a technical decision
  • How feedback will be collected

Module 8: Project Presentations and Summary

  • Project showcase: a short presentation of what participants managed to create during the day, followed by feedback
  • Closing and Q&A session
