OSINT Training

The “OSINT” training is a practical 2–3 day workshop (80% practice, 20% theory) that will help you master modern open-source intelligence techniques. You will learn to effectively search for data, use advanced OSINT tools, automate information-gathering processes, and analyze results from various sources, including social media, the deep web, and the Darknet. The training also covers the legal and ethical aspects of data collection, essential for compliance.

    • Browsers and plugins supporting OSINT (e.g. Maltego, FOCA)
    • Social Media Intelligence (SOCMINT) – monitoring methods and tools
  1. Day 2: Automation, Advanced Analysis, and the Darknet

    • Using APIs and tools like Postman to gather information
    • Writing scripts and using ready-made automation tools
    • Scraping and extracting data from websites
    • Exploring social media, forums, government registries, and data leaks
  • Module 5: Media and Multimedia Analysis

    • Extracting and analyzing metadata from graphic, audio, and video files
    • Identifying digital forgeries and manipulations
    • Introduction to the Darknet and anonymous search techniques
    • Cryptocurrency and blockchain analysis tools (e.g. Chainalysis)
    • Practical exercises in searching and analyzing Darknet data

    • Building networks of connections between individuals and organizations
    • Techniques of provocation, spoofing, and operations on public data
    • Using tools for data visualization and correlation
